A Brief History of Lionism in Connecticut 2007 Edition

Here is what some Lions have to say about A Brief History of Lionism in Connecticut 2007 Edition.

"A good idea to familiarize & remind all Lions in the State of Ct. of how each club serves their communities etc." -  Lion Ray

"Lions in ACTION, that is what this book expertly illustrates. This history shows why Lions are great, and Connecticut Lions are the best!"
- Kathy Randall, District 23-B Secretary, Connecticut

"A fascinating book with so many inspiring ideas and projects - a big Aussie "well done" to the authors, and to Connecticut Lions."
Jill Qualtrough,  PR Chair, MD 201V1-4
Malcolm Qualtrough, Webmaster, MD 201
Strathfieldsaye Lions Club
Victoria, Australia

"This book tells us about countless examples of great community service that Lions do. But you can also clearly see that Lions have fun and friendships in the process." - Lion Elaine & Lion Phil Dzurnak, Torrington, CT

"I received my copy of the updated edition of the Connecticut Lions History recently, on my way to a Council of Governors meeting in the Atlanta area. I read through it that evening and was so impressed that I took it to the meeting and passed it around. Some of the PIDs remembered Otto and Scott and the other Council members were just blown away with the quality and content. I enjoy seeing all of the familiar names of Lions past and present (including my Father; PDG Jim Zeppieri, 23-C 1968) and reminiscing about my 22 years in the Mystic and Ledyard clubs in 23-C. Those clubs are a mainstay in their communities with all of the good that they do. When recruiting new Lions, they inevitably ask "What do Lions do?" One profound response to that question would be to hand them this book."

Congratulations PCC Frank, PDG Joel and all who collaborated on this project. And best wishes to all of our old friends in CT.
Lion Ron Zeppieri, DGE, D-18B (Coastal GA) and Lion Judy
